Our flagship event, on the most American of holidays, the annual Thanksgiving Dinner is an occasion to see old friends and make new ones.  The delicious menu will include: sweet potato soup with saffron, ginger, and caramellized walnuts; roast turkey or duck (depending on availability - avian flu in Brandenburg has drastically reduced the turkey population), stuffed with bread, chestnuts, apples, and marjoram; gravy with Port and orange; cranberry marmelade; potato gratin with Gruyère; carrots with Marsala and parsley; and caramel parfait with chocolate sauce.  Cost is 50€ per person; the optional wine pairing costs an additional 40€ per person (water will be on the table).  Remember that the software asks you how many guests you are bringing, not how many people are coming.  If you are coming alone, this number should remain 0.  Once you have registered on the website (plus ones are welcome), please send an email to Patrick Truhn at [email protected], to confirm whether or not you wish the wine pairing and/or whether you have dietary limitations (e.g., vegetarian).  You will then receive a return email with the bank information of our chef for your wire transfer.  Your registration is not complete until payment has been received.  The deadline for registration and payment (or alternatively for cancellation and requesting a refund) is Thursday, November 20.  The communal table seats twenty-two.
