In January 2022 we organized a dinner at the fabulous Thai restaurant Tossakan in its previous location in Charlottenburg, but unfortunately most of the people who had RSVPed were in quarantine and couldn't come, and others didn't feel safe eating in restaurants at the height of the pandemic.  So we're trying again!  In the meantime, Tossakan has moved to Prenzlauer Berg, at Schliemannstraße 16 (U/S-Bhf Schönhauser Allee, Tram 12 Raumer Straße), gotten a rave review in "Tip," and become a hit with Berlin restaurant-goers.  It offers the most authentic Thai cooking this side of Bangkok, with superb ingredients.  That means hot dishes are characteristically hot, but if you don't like spicy food, don't worry: there are plenty of dishes with no chilies!  There are also options for vegetarians.  The staff are welcoming, accommodating, and efficient.  Payment by cash or EC card ONLY; no credit cards.
