This event is an exclusive English language tour exploring the MMC studios on Saturday, 14 October, at 3.45 pm. The MMC studios are home to many international movie productions and popular TV shows, causing Oscar winning actor Ben Kingsley to call them “Europe’s Hollywood”. Films like “Der Medicus”, Amélie or the Oscar nominated “Vorleser” have been shot at the studios. The tour will take us to the various parts of the studios, e.g. TV studios & soundstages, control rooms, a green-screen studio, different sets as well as make-up and set construction facilities. We will also get a short video-based introduction to the use of Visual Effects (VFX).

We will meet at the wardrobe of MMC Café on 14 October at 3.45pm. The Café is located directly at the main entrance of the studios (Am Coloneum 1, 50829 Cologne) next to the security services. Please approach the studio via Von-Hünefeld-Straße. See correct map view here:
