Frankfurt: ECB art collection tour

The ECB’s art collection comprises around 450 paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and art objects of about 200 artists of 24 countries. It continues to grow, through acquisitions of artworks for the annual exhibition series “Contemporary art from the Member States of the European Union”, which features a different country every year.

The LSE alumni club invites all Ivy Circle alumni to an exclusive guided tour in English exploring the European Central Bank’s Art Collection and the building’s architecture at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, followed by drinks and dinner at the Restaurant Oosten (Mayfarthstraße 4, 60314 Frankfurt) at 7.30 pm.

Meeting point is at the entrance of the ECB Visitor Centre, Sonnemannstrasse 20, 60314 Frankfurt am Main, at 5:15 pm. A valid national identity card or passport is mandatory for entrance (no driving license or copies of identification documents).

Please register by October 6 by email to [email protected] indicating if you will join for the ECB guided tour and/or dinner. First-come, first-served, please cancel your place in case you are unable to attend to give the opportunity to others on the waiting list. Please indicate your number plate in case you need a parking space (parking space is not guaranteed).

The ECB guided tour is free of charge; drinks and dinner are on self-payment basis.
